Also letting you all know (If you don’t check Devon’s twitter, shame!) Stu interviewed Devon yesterday, you can listen to it at http://www.tsmradio.com/radioplayer.  Its also a podcast which is great.  AND it will make you feel like a 12 year old again, at least thats what happened with me. :)

The site has been redone in Wordpress, which made it really easy to add some exciting features:

  • Devon’s Twitter posts at the top
  • Ability to comment on updates
  • Ability to share updates to various social media sites (for example, you can post this update to your Facebook if you wanted!)
  • Ability to submit your vote in a poll without having the page reload or a pop-up popping up
  • Ability to search the entire site
  • Archives categorized by month, topic and tag
  • 30+ random images displayed each time the page loads (minus the home page and gallery)

We’ll be making on-going changes to some of the finer details we need to get done, but overall the site is set.  We hope you find it to be better to use and funner to browse!

Also, remember a little while ago I said the site is moving? Well now it is. For the past few weeks, Dora and I have been working hard on getting the new site together and moved, plus it’s in Wordpress (an amazing blog platform). This will make it easier for us to manage the site.

So far, the gallery is a mess — this will be resolved on the new server, and the Press Archive is gone, but will be fine. Soon the site will go over to the new server and you’ll see a new side of Starshine. See you soon!
