NEWS Devon in a new movie! It seems as if Devon along with Ken Foree and Kelly Hu will be starring in the action/horror flick, The Devil's Den. You can find this information and more here. Looks gruesome, awesome lol.
The information isn't found at imdb.com yet, but I have asked the webmaster of Upcoming Horror Movies about the validity of this movie, and it's all correct :) Go Devon!

NEWS Extreme Dating will be releasing to the US and Canada February 7 2006! You can now preorder the movie here (us) and here (canada). Also, look out for audio commentary / gag reel on the DVD as extras!! Oh and I'll be adding some hq pictures later from the movie!

Hunter's Moon is now complete, and it sounds a really awesome movie! Devon even said so! ;)
Sawa also acknowledges the cross-matching of subgenres in HUNTER’S MOON. “This is not so much horror as it is a psychological thriller with some sci-fi elements,” he states. “We’re not doing a Rob Zombie thing where we’re killing people right and left. But at the end of the day, this is a creature feature and it is going to scare people. If I didn’t think this was going to be good, I wouldn’t have done it. We’re doing something a little bit different, a little bit cooler.”

I completed the new gallery - completely switched to coppermine. It's easier for me to update and I think it'll be best for everyone else :) Browse around, get comfortable. Just a few notes:
- the movie posters are now split in the actual movie sections.
- there are a few photos missing from the gallery, so I will be uploading those in the next few days

Oo!!! The trailer to Pool Hall Prophets is now out! Devon's not seen in the trailer, but the movie looks really exciting! The dvd release date is December 27 2005 and the movie is now under the title Shooting Gallery.

Looks like we have a bit of news for Pool Hall Prophets. Rob recently noticed a V next to the movie listing in Devon's imdb.com. What that means is that the movie is going direct to video, it's not going to be released in the theatres...much like how Extreme Dating happened. You can read the whole definition here (first one).

DEVON NEWS! Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Idle Hands) has signed on as lead in Mark Stouffer's horror/sci-fi feature Hunter's Moon. Principle photography starts in September.
This is the second collaboration for Stouffer and Sawa -- Sawa once portrayed director/writer/producer Mark Stouffer in the Warner Brothers/Morgan Creek feature Wild America, based on the true-life story of Mark and his two filmmaking brothers, growing up in Arkansas. Stouffer created and produced Wild America with James Robinson, Steve Tisch and Gary Barber.
Hunter's Moon is the first in a multi-picture slate of horror films to be produced by Stouffer's company over the next three years. All are in the under $5 million budget range, and financed through private investors. Hunter's Moon is the story of four young couples drawn to the remote dunes for off-roading in their extreme machines. But the outing turns into a night of terror when they are attacked by the Catcher, a skilled and brutal hunter of human specimens for alien science.
Next in the production line-up is Murder House, co-written with Dennis Johnson, to be directed and produced by Stouffer. Murder House is the story of a mentally unstable writer who is haunted by the ghosts of the murder victims, and their killer, that he is researching. Additional camera-ready projects include Bone Eater, Escargot and Hell's Well.
Says Stouffer, "The horror market has always run from tepid to hot - but never cold. It's a reliable commodity worldwide, as attractive to its core audience, as it is to my investor pool, looking for market-wise ventures.
Hunter's Moon is headquartered at LA Center Studios, where casting is wrapping up. Executive producer Mark Litwak represents the project for worldwide sales. Jay Sedrish also exec produces, with Wendy Winks co-producing.

Also, we heard from Rob, that the Extreme Dating DVD released on June 23 in Hungary, so possibly the DVD that I got on eBay could be a bootleg copy? Rob also makes a good point, "But more importantly, if the DVD is now officially released, perhaps it will show up in the local Blockbuster in the near future." Thanks Rob!

Contest Winners! Well, it was tough to decide for both Dora and I. We came to decision that Natalie has won mainly for her original plot and the summary was intriguing - not like the rest weren't, but this was mostly. However, I couldn't help myself and Veronique and Liz did participate and actually put a lot of work into it - so I'm giving each of you the Extreme Dating DVD :) You guys all did a great job, and at least participated! I will be emailing each one of you asap.

Hey guys - sorry for not updating. My host moved to a more powerful server and so I couldn't add anything. Anyway, I added 5 Idle Hands videos. The Robin thumbnails should be resolved soon!
And only one person joined the contest. Why? :( That's not very fun. I'm giving a week extension. If no one else submits, then that one person automatically receives the DVD.

Really great news! EXTREME DATING IS OUT ON DVD, however; only in Portugal. Yeah, but it's available online via eBay in Thailand (this video is in english, but please read the info) ! I already bought a copy for myself to cap and make videos for you guys, but I can't make videos of the whole movie - so go ahead and buy! Tom (who is the seller) has tons more DVDs from the movie, so he'll putting more online as they get bought! I don't know if and when the DVD will be released elsewhere, but keep checking back :) (and thanks to Diane for letting us know!) |

Rob sent in an article from Pool Hall Prophets from Dark Horizons. Most important, I got out of it was, Filming is tipped to wrap by the end of this month, with Blockbuster Video set to release the film in the Fall. You can read the whole article here.
