Also, Final Destination has premiered on USA last Sunday. It will be making its second appearance on TV this Saturday on USA. That's about it for today, more to come throughout the week!

Later I made the new poll "How long have you been a Devon fan?" Vote over to the right! And if you click on 'Poll Results', you can see the results from the last poll. I also decided to take the fanfiction section down. No one seems to submit anything and the story that was up there never got completed. Today I added the picture you see to the left. It's Devon and Tara Reid attending the 'Alien Resurrection' Premiere. Thanks to Maria for the picture! Where she got it it read 'Devon Sawa & girlfriend at Premiere of "Alien Resurrection" at the Village Theatre/Westwood.' So according to that site, Devon and Tara were boyfriend/girlfriend? Later I have some tentative news regarding Extreme Dating. If you look here, it says: Winter 2003 - EXTREME DATING scheduled to be released.SLC Punk! was re-released in July as one of Sony's top-selling DVD's. Some of the features are: production notes, director and cast audio commentary (i'm not so sure if Devon's in the commentary though), theatrical trailers, music track, original "slc punk" comic book and more. You can check out some more information here. And if you're even a bigger SLC Punk! fanatic, the director is selling the SLC Punk Script as well as the Comic Book.

Also, I wanted to remind you that today the Around the Fire DVD comes out. I'm going to try and buy it (wherever it can be found!) You can also purchase the DVD at Amazon.com. They have there that the DVD comes out on Sept. 30th, but at the official around the fire site it said Sept. 23, so if your stores don't have it today, check on the 30th!

So what did everyone think of Spider-Man? He didn't exactly play a bad guy though - more of a good guy, possessed to be a bad guy. The episode was so short! I do apologize for letting everyone know about him being on at the last minute, but without Dora telling me about it - I wouldn't have known at all! Dora found out at TVTome.com that Devon was going to be playing the voice of Flash Thompson of Spider-Man (which is a tv show) and so I did some searching and found out it's 100% true!"At the Empire State University campus Flash Thompson (Devon Sawa) flaunts the fact to Mary Jane Watson (Lisa Loeb) that he doesn't have to study anymore because he has landed himself a tutor. Much thanks goes to Star and Natalie for contributing!A little while ago I mentioned something about moving servers. I didn't go into details because it wasn't happening at the time. I just got a new server/host and I'm uploading the pictures to that server as I type this. It will take awhile to upload because of all the pictures that I capped. There won't be any huge updates here, that's why I haven't added any caps recently because whatever I add here, I will also have to add there. Please be patient, while there will only be continuously small updates. Devon isn't busy anyway, so I'm going to take my time to make everything really nice at the new server.

I'm happy to announce that this layout finally works, but that is because I had to delete some pictures, only doubles though. I will be going through the site this week and checking for doubles because there is a lot mainly because when I capture pictures I make a lot of the same scene and they're just useless.Anyway, I made a new guestbook because the old one was running out of entries and I think this one is more customizable. Over at the Internet Movie Database, they have under Devon's filmography that the movie Trespass will be releasing in 2003, but just yesterday I looked and it said it would release in 2004! By the way, when you go to Trespass @ imdb.com, you'll see they added cast list for the movie and...that's about it! So I'll just leave that news as it is like that, because I don't know its official plans yet. Did you know that Devon was in a Batman commercial at eleven years old, then he got fired because he couldn't get the figure on its mark? Devon said that on the Final Destination commentary. Thank god! We got some news! It's not exactly the typical news that you probably were hoping for. But on May 6th 2003 you can rent Extreme Ops on Video & DVD! Once that comes out, I'll definitely be making screencaps of that movie and if anything else will be on like deleted scenes, extra stuff - I hope! Today I changed the poll question to the right. So go on and vote! I also added 29 Around the Fire pictures in the Picture Galleries and you'll see on the Around the Fire page that I reorganized it a bit to make it easier for downloading time. I went to Blockbuster today in search for the Slackers DVD, but they were all out so I rented The Guilty DVD instead. So you maybe seeing pictures of that movie here and there in updates. Happy One Year Anniversary! A year ago around this time Starshine was born hoping to bring you the latest on the greatest! I never thought that this site would become what it is today; with a domain, updates, a lot of visitors, sunglasses listed at yahoo-I think it's just amazing. Thank you everyone who came to this site and supported it, it's been great and I'm looking forward to many more years in the future. I created a little graphic for the anniversary and next to it, Dora created a nice one as well (thank you):
As for the site updates, I added 3 Caption This! submissions and I also wanted to point out that I accidently deleted one of them so if it was you, could you re-submit? Sorry! Took me all day to make this update, but I made it! I added three more Affiliates. So I finished capturing the Idle Hands DVD. One movie down, 10+ more to go! I added 91 stills and 9 pictures from the Idle Hands Featurette. I also added 15 Slackers pics originally found here.

Before I get to the updates, I wanna let you know my plans for this week and later on. This weekend I'm gonna be renting SLC Punk! and making screencaps of that movie and finishing up Around the Fire (that is, once the Idle Hands DVD goes back to Blockbuster). So look out for those kind of pictures this weekend. I'm also planning on a new layout for this site. I have a lot to do yet especially since I learned some neat tips and tricks with HTML, I'll be incorporating that into the next layout which I'm hoping will be either next weekend or the week after.Anyway, onto the updates! Today I added 1 Becoming, 6 Affiliates; be sure to check them all out...see all those webmasters hard work! On the left side of the updates, I updated the random affiliates as they're supposed to be random/temporary there. Unfortunately, I have to go through all the pages and change their links because they just don't match. I apologize for not keeping my promise about updating yesterday. I honestly thought I would be updating, but things intervened that day. So anyway, I added a new affiliate; Charming Julian and four Becomings. I also added a variety of pictures sent in from Ashley and Dora. I added two Becomings as well as the Videos. Due to the results of the last poll, I found that a lot of people didn't know what Extreme Ops was, or was about. Extreme Ops is Devon's newest movie about a film crew who travels the Austrian Alps to film three extreme sports enthusiasts being chased down by an avalanche for a commercial. They find themselves filming near a secret hideout of terrorists. So basically the whole movie is action-packed and Devon Sawa even calls it a "no-brainer, action-packed film". So if you happen to catch it in theatres wherever you live, go and see it! Not too long ago, I found this web page featuring a picture of Devon as a baby. I don't know if it's really him, his name is even spelled wrong, but I figured I would double check on it. Anyway, check it out here.
