Wow! That was A LOT of work! What a big change, huh? Hope this change makes things a lot easier to navigate, or 'fresher' for the New Year. Anyway, just wanted to clarify a few things; the Articles section has been changed and organized! I also did the same thing with the Photo Gallery. There's a lot I still have to do yet, well little things but a lot of little things! I'll try and add the pictures that I captured from a few days ago, today. Feel free to vote in the poll aside and check out Starshine's new look!

6:13pm All day I've been capturing images from the Around the Fire DVD, it's a long process! So anyway, so far I've added 90 pictures here, from an interview on the DVD, or you can preview below;
Merry Christmas! Yet another new layout lol! Hope you like this one, it's a day late for Christmas colors, but it's a really nice layout designed by Cecilia at Digital Ecstasy Graphics. Great news! I got a capture card for Christmas so now I can make stills on all of Devon's movies! Today I'm gonna start with Around the Fire pictures since that's the only DVD of Devon's I own. Hope everything works out!

New layout! Note, though, this layout was not made by Digital Ecstasy Graphics (the one I've been waiting for)...it's made by Dora, so thank you Dora! I guess you could say I couldn't wait to change the layout. Don't get me wrong the other one was great, it's just I needed a change. If you need to tell me anything about the layout or to Dora just sign the Guestbook and ya know! I made a New Year's layout too, it's pretty colorful! So I'll be putting that up like a day after Christmas or so. Well, now onto my reorganizing of Starshine.

The main reason why I haven't been updating this site because there was simply nothing to update! And also because I've been busy with school, but still. I added one Becoming. I've been waiting patiently for Cecila over at Digital Ecstasy Graphics to make Starshine's layout because I've been having layout block lately, drastically. So once that's done, I'll put the layout up instantly and then be working on the changes added to this site to make it look 'fresher'. So until then... sign the guestbook lol.

I added four Final Destination pictures; the first two are behind the scenes pictures. I also added a new interaction page; Becoming on how you became a fan, kind of alike to the Reasons. I also updated the History section.
I got some plans for Christmas break. Soon whenever, Starshine will be having a new layout preferrably for the holiday. With a new year will be coming a new site, more organized and fresher. I wanna create a seperate section for the gallery and news archive. I'm also in the process of creating another message board. Some of you may have joined at the last one- but this one will hopefully be different and more active! From the results of the poll not too long ago, I also wanna get the videos up. I apologize for not adding them yet, been trying though! Maybe some interaction will be added, who knows. If anybody has any interesting ideas, e-mail me!

Good news! Not only is Devon going to be starring in another new film called, Trespassing, but he's also going to be producing it! Read more. So let's see...Extreme Dating is still in post-production and Trespassing is starting filming in January. Sounds good to me!
As I promised, I've added a few images. I added six Magazine Spreads and five Magazine Covers, thanks Emily for scanning them in. I also added one Movie Poster and one From Hell Premiere picture. Enjoy!

You gotta enjoy snow days...no school, can relax and update my sites! Today I added four Reasons and another affiliate; Charismatic: John Cusack. Thanks to Emily for adding some trivia to both these articles; Idle Hands Trivia and Final Destination Trivia. Dora also let me know on this kind-of article for Extreme Ops, here.
I wanted to warn you about the Extreme Ops Snow Report that I showed you last week. Emily downloaded it and then went to delete it and it whiped out her whole system. I hope it won't happen to anyone else as well. So please be careful, I had no clue that would happen. In fact, I deleted that post. I don't know if it's just her computer or anything, but I just apologize if anything went wrong with any of your computers out there.
I also think this site needs some color in it, so maybe next week I'll make a Christmas layout to brighten the spirit up a bit. Or maybe someone else would want to make up a layout... Well that's it for today, tomorrow I'm adding some pictures!

To remind you and myself, Extreme Ops officially opens tomorrow in theatres all throughout the USA! If some of you came here and don't know what I'm talking about, read up: Devon Sawa's new movie titled 'Extreme Ops' is coming into threatres tomorrow (November 27th 2002), if you want to get a main idea on the movie, go to the official site, it's all action and looks awesome! So go tomorrow - support Devon, the movie and [hopefully] enjoy it! I've heard that this is $40 million dollar movie and I really want to see it explode in success! I'm sure many people agree.

I've been checking out the official Extreme Ops site non-stop lately for anything that happens to be added and there has. When you go to the site and then you see 'The Mission' then there it has a link called 'Filming Extreme Stunts.' It talks a bit about Devon and he gives some quotes. I may add that to the articles section one of these days. I added one Magazine Spread, one Reason and two Encounters. Following that, I recently created a new layout over at Color of Emotions the Devon Sawa Movie Fanlisting. So if you are either a fan of Devon or his movies and have not joined, be sure to do so!

I changed the splash image, not really because I didn't like it, but because it didn't match the layout. Not like the current picture up now is from Extreme Ops, but it matches better. I may update later on.

New layout as you can all see! I really hope you like this one as it is the first one I made for this site. I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me what you think, I was really nervous on the outcome, but I think it turned out well. I didn't redo much although I did make forms for these two sections; reasons and encounters. I figure it may make it a little easier instead of taking out the time to email me. I also updated the history section of the site.
If you can guess, working with frames didn't work out. They are hard! So I guess I'll stick with iframes. By the way, thanks to Kenekila.net for the background of the splash image! The site is really awesome. As for the past updates from this and last week, they are on my main computer so once I get it fixed, I'll add them to the archives section.
I almost forgot, the day I put Starshine on hiatus I added a brand new Devon article; Extreme Ops the anti-oscar movie which highlights on Devon's career, Extreme Ops and his love life.

There's kind of some news on Devon for Extreme Ops. Just found out from Janna who posted at SCSDC that she saw the trailer on MTV now and it's rated pg-13!
As for other things, I'm still asking if you can take the Poll. Somewhere around 30 votes etleast. And I'm going to try to make a Devon layout using tables. It'll be tough considering it'd be the first layout that I'm making for this site while using tables, but I'm going to try to work on that.

I added a video. It's the theatrical trailer for The Boys Club. I'm thinking about adding all the trailers in there for now on. I also made a Poll for what new page I should add next. You can pick all of the above, two of your favorite etc.
Movie listings is for around the world listings in the TV Guide that have movies with Devon in them. More interactive, self-explanatory. Downloadable Devon brushes are more for webmasters, but anyone could always download them. I would make Devon pictures into brushes and what-not, then you can download them onto your computer. Real videos set on DevonSawa.org is also self-explanatory. Instead of linking the videos somewhere else, I would put them on DevonSawa.org and I have some videos already saved on my zip disk that I could upload here. Again, please take the Poll, it'll help to make this site better!

There hasn't been much to update lately. Suddenly Devon news has just stopped. But good thing is we still have some pictures and I added them today. I added 4 Extreme OPS images, 1 of The Grinch Premiere, 2 Magazine Spreads, 001 and 002, 1 Family (thanks to darkalianangel87) and 1 Wallpaper made my me; used for 800x600 screen resolutions.

Looks as if there's a Devon movie mania this week on TV! Four movies of Devon's are on this week starting with today. Today at 8:00pm on the family channel, Night of the Twisters is on. Then on Wednesday at 8:00pm on the family channel, Little Giants comes on. On Saturday at 1:00pm on TNT, Now and Then and on the same day on USA at 2:30pm, Casper makes its way to the TV! Of course, you should all check your movie listings, I maybe wrong. This maybe just where I live in the USA, so ya never know.
I'm still looking for Devon news and any pictures to come along etc, but once I find something I'll definitely post it on here!

Found a bit different synopsis for Extreme Dating:
Shooting begins Monday on the indie comedy EXTREME DATING for Filmstar Productions. The movie starr Devon Sawa (SLACKERS), Amanda Detmer (SAVING SILVERMAN), Andrew Keegan (O), Ian Virgo (BLACK HAWK DOWN)and Jamie-Lynn Sigler (THE SOPRANOS). Keegan plays a guy who wants Sigler's character and with his friend, Sawa, they set up a false kidnapping. However, when the kidnappers get away from the plan, things get out of hand. Over at Vue2Sewell, there's two other trailers for the movie, Extreme Ops. Both here and here. Hope you can see it! I would make screencaps, but they would not look good. Most likely all blurry and stuff. Besides, Devon goes by so fast!

I apologize for not updating in, just about a week! I've been extremely busy. This weekend should make up the days that I haven't been able to update. So far, I've added two old articles with thanks to Catherine, part of the dreampack she sent me in the mail. They both have pretty much the same Devon stuff that you might have read in the other articles, some stuff is different; 25 Devon Details and Who's hot: Devon Sawa. Unfortunately, my scanner is not working - I have to get another disk since I just got a whole new computer. So until I get the scanner, it'll have to be unvisuals unless either Catherine or I upload some pictures. Check back later, as I'm sure I'll update some more!

I wasn't expecting to put up a new layout until October, but I got inspired. This layout was inspired by the video 'Stan', which as we all know Devon starred in. I was also inspired by Eminem's lyrics for the songs 'Stan' and 'Lose Yourself', which I have also incorporated into the layout. The guestbook is down at the moment, because I am trying to install a megabook. If the megabook does not work out, then I will put the original guestbook up.
Anyway, nothing much has been changed on the site this time around. I feel that the last time I changed the layout I spent way too much time reorganizing and such. Besides, I still have my other sites to work on. Hope you enjoy the new layout, e-mail me if you want to tell me what you think for now. Oh, I nearly forgot. More news on Extreme Ops; Paramount Pictures have today confirmed "Extreme Ops" has been set for release throughout The US from November 22, 2002. (thanks to Vue2Sewell for this information)

Oops. Forgive me for not updating in the past couple of days. But now I have some goodies for you!
Thanks to Catherine for sending me a lot of goodies on Devon through the mail! She sent me a combination of articles, clippings, pin-ups, posters and more! So this week, I'm going to be scanning most of them and getting the articles up to Starshine. I've already added one article; Handy-Man taken from a 1998 newspaper article.
And I've added the interview questions and answers to Starshine from the producer of Extreme Dating, Mark Roberts. I've only added the questions that had the answers. I've asked him around 23 questions, but some were about Devon that he didn't know. So be glad to read on; Inside 'Extreme Dating'.
I don't know if many of you people noticed Yahoo! Groups, they used to be called Yahoo! Clubs, but died out after Yahoo! changed everything around. Now they have ads and the layout is really different. I remember when the clubs used to be really popular back in the days and there were like 10-20 posts a day! Hopefully, I can change that with a little of your help. I'm going to try my best to get the So Cool So Devon club back to normal, hopefully other clubs can join in! But if you would join, I'm going to do my usual contests and quizzes for prizes. So if you want, join today and post a message or two!
Some good news for Starshine; Catherine's going to be making a new layout after she's done working on her other site and going to be adding some more pictures when that goes through. Good things ahead of us!

Wanted to remember 9-11-01 today, I hope everyone's lives right now continue to be the best they can, it was a sad day last year for everyone.
On a happier note, Devon is going to be in another movie, Invisible Girl opposite Rachael Leigh Cook. The movie is a romantic comedy about a young woman who no one notices until she uses herself as bait to capture a serial killer. I am so happy that Starshine is back! I can finally get back to promoting the heck out of this site and more! Got some news for you; Devon's upcoming movie The Extremists' title has changed to Extreme Ops without having a clue what Ops stands for. The movie is set for major theatrical release by Paramount Pictures this November 27th in Montreal, Canada.
Also, I found a new Extreme Dating picture at Filmstarproductions.net just browsing around the website. I'm still waiting for an email I sent to the producer of Extreme Dating, I asked him questions about the movie and of Devon. Actually, awhile ago I emailed him, he said he would answer the questions, but at the time Starshine was down so I couldn't really get people to ask questions so that I could send them to the producer, but I have sent around 26 questions if I remember correctly and I'm currently waiting for his email.
Over at Rex Features I have found several pictures of Devon along with a caption that informs us that Devon's girlfriend or ex-girlfriend was named Jessica.
Thank you for the guestbook messages! They're all very sweet! And guess what? Devon's Birthday is tomorrow! He's going to be 24, so young and talented! He's got a ways to go yet!
